Bible Translation Note
Quotations are generally used from THE JERUSALEM BIBLE (published by Darton, Longman &Todd Ltd, London and Doubleday and Co. Inc), unless otherwise stated. This specific translation has been selected for its clear, unbiased and modern style. It also rates very strongly when measured by its general scriptural critique in the footnotes of the Complete Edition (with cross references and extensive footnotes). Readers should however compare as many translations as possible at any time (ref. guideline here below) and, if possible, refer to the original Hebrew. Great care should be taken to follow the general context of those sections from which quotations are made as well as that of the whole Bible in its entirety.
This version is out of print and not easily obtainavble.
